I love this film, it reminds me of shopping trips with my Mother when I was very small.

an insight into how it was in 1969, fairly laid back, quite a well attired population, in comparison to todays lot! An obviously buoyant economy. The cash Registers are great!

Donna Waldron

Lovely piece of nostalgia...I was 6 and shopped in Dunnes around that time so have a vague memory of the store looking like that. Really great to see this, and the fashion, half full carpark, smoking in the store and all the kids eating icecream...

Declan Mulligan

Fantastic piece of Social History...The Shopping Centre is still there , it is the oldest in the Republic of Ireland.
