This is a great old Sherlock Holmes film. I am overjoyed to see this film since I was not even born when it was made, in fact I am not sure how many Sherlockians/Holmesians were born when this film first appeared. Anyway it is a truly great classic. Georges Treville is one of the great director/actors of his time. Any great student of film should see this as well as all true Sherlock Holmes fans.
